(Spin Digit Editorial):- Temecula, California Aug 18, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – Leader’s Beacon has made the new online personality assessment tool by Dr. Mark Majors available on its website. The Majors Elements is a very accurate, concise assessment tool that provides information on complex elements of human personality. Developed to operationalize Jung’s theory of psychological types, The Majors Element is a 127-items questionnaire that helps professional users of psychological types help their clients easily learn valuable information about the elements of their psychological type and the proprietary elements of personality formation.
In addition to being less expensive than other psychological type instruments, the new assessment tool uses a neutral response that eliminates the measurement error that you will find in most other forced-choice psychological type assessments. Instead, the Majors Elements uses levels of similarity to provide clarity of results and increased precision. Differential Intensity Weighting allows an individual to choose the most natural response as well as rate how similar the choice is to them. The Type Precision Module is a type of computer adaptive assessment, which adapts the scoring method on the basis of an individual’s responses.
The report provides results on the dichotomies of energy acquisition and distribution, Extraversion (external) and Introversion (internal); perceiving or attending to information, Sensing and iNtuiting; deciding or making judgments, Thinking and Feeling; orientation to living, Judgment, and Perception. The reported result for the individual’s 16-type indication is given, as well as results on the 32 Elements sub-scales, which illuminate personality differences within the dichotomy or type. In addition, the all-new “Elements of Personality Formation” statements are included in the report which will help users understand some of the complex ways that they interact with others, and respond to situations.
The new Majors Elements contains three main parts that are used to operationalize Jung’s theory of psychological types. Not only does it produce the four-letter personality code using the innovations found in the Majors PTI, but it also identifies the different ways that individuals adapt to or compensate for circumstances. Further, it provides scores for the level of development, access, and usability for the 8 Jungian mental functions. These different ways indicate levels of personality development (formation). The Majors Elements is an all-electronic assessment containing 127 items that provide results in both a detailed client profile and a professional report.
The Majors Elements can be used for the business applications such as employee development, leadership development, performance coaching, team building, executive coaching, conflict resolution, and more.
The Majors Elements was developed by Dr. Mark S. Majors. Dr. Majors is a counseling psychologist with extensive psychometric credentials. His Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and Multicultural Studies is from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and he earned an MS and BS in Psychology (with distinction) from Iowa State University. He is the author and developer of the Majors Personality Type Inventory (Majors PTI), Majors Occupational Environment Measure (Majors OEM), and the Majors SGI (Majors Spiritual Gifts Inventory). Mark also provided the data analysis on the 1994 Strong Interest Inventory, the MBTI® Form M, and Form Q, as well as the development of the IRT scoring for the MBTI® Form Q, and coauthor for the MBTI® Form Q Manual.
