Prior to medical school, Dr. Shah worked with Dr. Sohail Husain and studied at the Yale University School of Medicine for four years, yielding high-impact publications in various peer-reviewed journals including The American Journal of Physiology, Gastroenterology, and The Journal of Biological Chemistry. He was also a recipient of a prestigious American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) research fellowship award.
