He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida and graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his fellowship in bariatric and robotic surgery at the Reading Hospital.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in bariatric surgery and general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Fridley is a Fellow of both the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS) and the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons (FASMBS).
