Dr. Ragi graduated with his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India.  After relocating to the United States, he did his residency in dermatology at SUNY Buffalo and a fellowship in dermatologic surgery and oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute.

Mohs surgery is the gold standard for many basal cells and squamous cell carcinomas with the highest cure rate while preserving the most normal tissue.  He was fellowship-trained in Mohs Surgery by Dr. Frederic Mohs, Dr. Stephen Snow, and Dr. Paul Larson at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.  He is board certified by the American Board of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

With a focus on skin issues, Dr. Ragi is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD).  The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Nationally and internationally recognized, Dr. Ragi was the Chief of Mohs Surgery and Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He was also Chief of Dermatology at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ, and served as the President of the Dermatological Society of NJ. 

Very active in professional associations, he remains a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine.  He is also a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology.
