Graduating with her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Ramdhaney completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. She followed this up with a fellowship in gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. 

Subsequent to her education, she attained board certification in gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGAF), Dr. Ramdhaney is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), ASGE Women in Endoscopy, and the American Obesity Medical Association.

Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine focused on the digestive system and its disorders. A gastroenterologist is a physician who has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
