(Spin Digit Editorial):- London, Nov 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) – Amidst a steady rise in the number of staycations being taken in the UK due to current overseas travel restrictions, THINKWARE, the world-leading dash cam manufacturer, has today announced the launch of its F200 PRO Dash Cam.

As the latest edition to THINKWARE’s F-series Dash Cam range, the F200 PRO is an upgrade on the company’s popular predecessor, the F200, featuring front facing and front-and-rear facing cameras.

More on Spindigit:

Available in 1CH 16GB (RRP £129), 2CH 32GB (RRP £189) and 2CH 32GB with GPS (RRP £209) packages, the F200 PRO includes a number of new features compared to the F200, most notably Super Night Vision, time lapse photography in parking mode and a full HD rear camera.

The F200 PRO includes road safety warning system features; namely Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW) plus high speed and urban Front Collision Warning System (FCWS/uFCWS).

Just like the F200, the F200 PRO discreetly fits in any vehicle and offers an expansive view of the road with 1080p full HD resolution and a wide 140-degree field of view. Equipped with a Safety Camera Alert function to warn drivers of upcoming red light and speed cameras, the F200 PRO also features Energy Saving Parking Recording, halving current drain so doubling the potential duration, recording a 20 second clip on impact detection.

Also, the time lapse photography function embraces improved video storage methods and maintains continuous recording while the car is parked, instead of recording 20 second events triggered by motion detection or the camera’s g-sensor, 10 seconds before the trigger and 10 seconds after.

Users can easily control and manage their F200 PRO dash cam with the built-in WiFi via an iOS or Android smart phone app, providing a truly convenient way to view, download, access or delete recorded footage as well as enable firmware and safety camera updates via the app.

Tim Sagar, THINKWARE Business Development Manager, said: “The ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on travel restrictions has seen a rise in staycation bookings in the UK over the summer. With more people driving to reach their getaway locations, a dash cam not only provides peace of mind for drivers when it comes to road safety, but also positively impacts insurance premiums. We are pleased to have increased the functionality and range of features available with the F200 PRO, including Super Night Vision and time lapse parking mode and a number of road safety warning systems to help drivers stay safe.”

The F200 PRO is now available across the Europe, from online retailers including the THINKWARE EU store, Amazon, the RAC, and a number of independent specialists (re-sellers).
