The Sea of Thieves has slowly but steadily established its platform into a pretty fun and engaging action game that revolves around a pirate who sails in the open seas, solo, or with friends. Although the game had suffered a tough launch, thanks to the regular consistent updates provided by Rare that has readily improved the game play. It has even removed the bugs and given players new content that they could always look forward to.

Recently a new one has embarked on the scene called the Haunted Shores and includes a lot of fun and entertaining new elements. One of the most notable ones is the addition of ships. The Haunted Shores Update Is Now Live In Sea Of Thieves And Includes Ghost Ships.

Just like the skeleton ships, these ships can also appear at random and poses a threat if any player gets hit by them. After all, they come with Wraith Cannonballs which means that the players further have to be more vigilant while they sail through the open waters. They also have to navigate around them carefully and cautiously as they can drop devastating mines.

Fortunately, according to the developer notes, they are not the most durable ones. With only a couple of good hits, they will go down like a sack of potatoes. If a player can sink them then they can collect treasure, skulls, and even cannonball ammunition.

The player shall also have the ability to take on missions where they can actively pursue them for even greater rewards. As it goes, the ghost ships seem like a great new addition that should necessarily provide some added excitement to the players, out on the water.

With the addition of the Haunted Shores update, there also has been an up gradation in the communication wheel, as it is much more efficient to sue now. Now the players can click on popular texts that are relevant to the situation at hand that can either be for sending an alarm for ship repairs or to just warn the crew members of an upcoming attack.

This is indeed a great addition because earlier it used to be pretty hard to get in what the player needed to say when the situations got heated up. Overall it is a welcomed change for the players especially for those who prefer a text chat as opposed to using a mic. Along with the gameplay improvements, new shanties are also available in the upgrade.

For those who haven’t played Sea of Thieves in a while or so, or have never actually purchased it, updates like, this latest one are pretty consistent. Moreover, Rare also has a dedicated YouTube channel that keeps the players in the loop as far as what’s next to come is concerned.

As per recent reports, it seems like the Sea of Thieves has gained a lot of momentum. If the developers keep pumping out such updates and also succeeds to give the players noteworthy content and events in the future to look forward to, there is absolutely no reason why this action-adventure game can’t easily continue to thrive for many more years to come.
