Games Latest News

Niantic is planning out the next event in February as soon as the January Community Day for the players of mobile gaming version of Pokemon Go has ended. The exciting news is, Pokemon Go Team Will Allow Players To Vote On The Community Day Pokemon For February.

The next date for Community Day is fixed on 22nd February.  Niantic again falls into pattern and asks to vote the players for choosing a Pokémon they will be catching this time instead of naming any particular Pokémon to be featured this month. This polling session went for 12 hours at a stretch.

This strategy is taken into action thinking that it will boost up the engagement of the players making Community Day more community-driven. Niantic offers the Pokémon candidates to be selected as top four candidates which will be given extra moves to learn at different events.

We have already got Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix which got access to new move of Weather Ball.

Machop and Rhyhorn are strong candidates. If Machop gets a spot, it will get a chance to learn Payback. For Rhyhorn, Rock Wrecker will be its special move.

There is Dratini, who might learn some super move too if it’s voted for the Community Day.

Niantic is going to start voting for this month’s Pokémon on February 1 from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time. But the voting system is not that easy, you cannot just log into the website to put your vote. You to follow certain steps before you can cast it. You have to be signed for special Field Research tasks that are available at Pokestops only for the voting period.

The players will have four different programs to choose from. Each task is linked with the Pokémon candidates. The winner Pokémon will be selected on the view of how many challenges or event are completed everywhere.

Niantic will display the result on Monday, February 3. The Community Day is happening on February 22. It is going to follow the same pattern that the players have seen on January’s Community Day, with no fixed time or region. Players from Northern Hemisphere will be able to take part in it from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, whereas, players from the Southern Hemisphere can play it from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There is another bonus activity for February’s Community Day, apart from increased Pokémon spawns. Players can triple the quantity of Stardust for every Pokémon they hunt. The details are provided on their official website.

Pokémon Go is a hyped mobile game of the decade that hides Pokemons in the real world and the players have to trace it in order to catch and battle. The game has become a big success and never lost a bit of popularity throughout the years with special events like the one with monthly Community Days. Though it is a free mobile game, but micro-transactions can be seen in the game.
