The official Stadia Community Blog announced the launching of two free games on Stadia Pro earlier this week. Google Stadia Pro Announces Two More Free Games Coming In January 2020.

As Stadia Pro is a service running on subscription packages, subscribers can choose to keep the free games so long as they are an active member.

Two of the free games coming to the Stadia Pro this January are Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper.

The all-new game Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration comprise more than 50 hours of gameplay along with new bonus content. The content includes the mono-player story “Blood Ties”, coupled with “Lara’s Nightmare”, zombie-game, co-op mode update for Endurance mode, and the difficulty mode entitled “Extreme Survivor” for the campaign. Following DLC, the game makes way for additional cosmetic content, like the “20 Year Celebration” outfit and gun, besides five classic Lara skins. The 20 Year Collection was, at first, released in the year 2016.

Strikingly different from Rise of the Tomb Raider, the game Thumper is described by the Steam page thus: “Thumper is a rhythm violence: classic rhythm-action, blistering speed, and brutal physicality. You are a space beetle. Brave the hellish void and confront a maniacal giant head from the future.” Thumper was launched in October 2016 on Steam.

Other games presently available are Destiny 2: The Collection, Farming Simulator19: Platinum Edition, Samurai Shodown, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

The game Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be leaving the store as the month ends. However, the first three thrilling games will be available for everyone until the end of January.

As most of the games were launched years ago, but are presently available on the all-new Google Stadia Console, the ones who missed out on the opportunity to play it earlier can now have their chance.

The players need not claim and complete the game in a rush, for, once they click “Claim”, the game remains in their account until the subscription expires. It is no doubt a fantastic bonus for anyone who wants to try out the games but fall short of the time required to play the game at a stretch during the busy holiday season.

Once the games are made available on the Google Stadia store, the players can readily seek to claim them before they forget or time ends. Although the official blog suggests everyone to claim them soon after they are available, yet there is no limit as to the number available for them. The games Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper will be releasing on January 1, 2020.
