Continuously advancing his efforts, he is a professional member of the International Society for Rapid Response Systems and the American Heart Association.

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province, or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties. In addition to their primary role in treating and caring for patients, their responsibilities also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing emotional support and advice to the families of their patients. Other RN job functions include leadership, research, performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, operating medical equipment, administering medications, recording patients’ symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up.

On a more personal note, Simonsarkis attributes his success to his workplace and the support from them. He would like to thank his father, Leon Ulubabov, and his co-workers, Billy McCrystal, Elliot Surrias, Mary Ellen Comiskey, Joann Kurtz, and Janice Pateres.

As a child, he was admitted to the hospital where his father worked to have his tonsils removed. When his father walked into the room with his scrubs on, Simonsarkis knew at that moment that he wanted to be in healthcare just like his father.

His advice to those just starting would be to follow your heart. “If the setting is not right for you, you’ll find the place that is.”
