Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University, with a focus on Ranch Management, before receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Texas A&M University. He then went on to earn his medical degree and complete his residency in family medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Finally, he completed his fellowship in cardiology at Firmin Desloge Hospital.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Gray is an active member of the American College of Physician Executives and is Certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Among his other roles, he serves as an active staff member at Covenant Medical Center, Covenant Children’s Hospital, Grace Medical Center, and Lubbock Heart Hospital. Furthermore, he is a Certified Texas Firefighter and a member of the Texas Disaster Rescue Team and has served on the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department for seven years.

As for his academic appointments, Dr. Gray is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
