Deciding to follow her passion, she applied to specialize in addiction medicine and moved to New York City for her fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. During her fellowship, she was able to fully devote her time and energy to treating patients with addiction. After graduation, she moved back to Los Angeles and joined the Kaiser Permanente team in Carson.
