(Spin Digit Editorial):- Morristown, New Jersey Mar 10, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – A music video, titled “Super Clean Escape Machine”, released to YouTube in February ’22, was conceived, produced, and directed by 77-year-old Bob Didner. It promotes cycling as a way to advance the physical and emotional health benefits of cycling while enjoying beautiful scenes unavailable to motorists. It also boosts the benefits of cycling for sustaining our planet. Inflation, energy costs, geopolitical fossil fuel extortion, and climate change dominate our headlines. Cycling is a modest way of addressing these global issues.
Cycling is also topical legally. New Jersey, for example, just became one of the first two states to enact a safe passing law that went into effect March 1, 2022. The law specifies safety parameters for motorists to pass cyclists and pedestrians on public roads and highways.
The music and lyrics are original. The approach is unusual in that most of the lyrics are simultaneously illustrated with video segments of cycling by dramatic skyline views, balmy moonlit riversides, rustic streamside wooded trails, and many more scenes. Video segments and animations were mostly captured in Essex and Morris counties of New Jersey. with extremely smooth stabilized video equipment rivaling Hollywood’s Steadicams.
This piece highlights multiple talents of Jason Didner of Montclair, NJ. He’s the on-screen talent, composer, arranger, audio producer, singer, and he performs all instruments: strings, keyboard, and percussion. 77-year-old Bob Didner, his father, conceived the project, wrote the initial poem that Jason rearranged into lyrics, shot almost all of the footage, and did the video editing and production in Morris Township NJ.
