The Independent Junior College Athletic Association (IJCAA) is an athletic association that is made up of various junior colleges and community colleges. It was founded in 2021 and has 5 member schools already. The IJCAA promotes, develops, and further hones junior college athletics by giving member institutions the chance to participate in college sports at the varsity level.
The IJCAA sponsors football, men’s basketball, Women’s basketball, Soccer, volleybally, track and field, and baseball. Regardless of what institution a student-athlete is in, they will still retain the eligibility to play if they decide to transfer into another IJCAA, NJCAA, NAIA, or NCAA school.
