They have been family/friends since toddlers and once they got to high school their bond got closer to the point where they started a youtube group called “MOVIEBROTHAS”. Towards the end of our second year of college, they entered the studio for the first time together and made a song. However, they had high hopes for the song, but they wanted to know their friend’s feedback. Once they got their reactions, they motivated them to keep going. The second time, they went to the studio they made hit a song called “Bumping & Grinding ” shoutout to Donkobee who also made an appearance on the track. Once they played this for their friends– they knew the song would blow up. They didn’t waste any time and shot a music video with upcoming videographers G-Train Productions. Adding visuals to Bumping & Grinding they started to get the town on notice that they were upcoming artists. Fast forward the rest of the 2021 summer, Suwopp and Moviee kept going to the studio recording more and more singles receiving great feedback from friends, family, producers, and etc. To end the summer off they dropped another single called “Can’t Take It ” also adding visuals by Scootfilmz (a rising videographer from our hometown). This video also received great feedback.
Their success did not come easily, but one of the greatest challenges was getting their music out to the right people. Another challenge for Suwopp & Moviee was trying to find performances for their type of music to get more exposure.

What’s next for us is a Valentine’s Day EP. Along the way, we plan to get more exposure and become a worldwide name. Also, we are dropping a summer tape with plenty of visuals and making the 2022 summer ours.
