Green Hydrogen Middle East is delighted to announce MENA Hydrogen Alliance, Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC), and Middle East Gases Association (MEGA) as its supporting partners for their upcoming online conference on August 24-25, 2021.

 

Through this cooperation and support, Green Hydrogen Middle East will highlight distinctive competitive advantages, local capabilities, export infrastructure, and policy initiatives in developing the green hydrogen sector in the region.

 

The two-day online event will have 10 live sessions focused on projects, business models, policies, regulations, and investment frameworks in addressing the production, storage, transport, and export of green hydrogen in the Middle East.

 

The conference is being organized by Global Transmission Report in association with RE Global.

MENA Hydrogen Alliance, launched by Dii Desert Energy, provides a platform for members to meet and discuss pathways forward and formulates joint papers. The Alliance acts as an impartial advisor to promote pilot projects in the region, elaborates (potential) business cases and structures for large projects, proposes the necessary policy and regulatory frameworks, and educates different stakeholders on all relevant aspects of the hydrogen value chain.

 

Middle East Clean Energy Business Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting clean energy including renewables, energy efficiency, smart grid, energy storage, and clean energy technology and solutions for the environmental sector. Established in 2008, CEBC provides a platform for dialogue between the public and private sectors to develop much-needed policy and regulation to help drive the implementation of clean energy across the MENA region.

 

Middle East Gases Association actively promotes safety, health, and environmental awareness through the setting up of technical expert Work Groups that study and advise on the various aspects of production and distribution of gases. It establishes effective liaison with the other international gases associations and represents the views and interests of the regional gases association in the Middle East in order to achieve international consistency in standards and practices.
