Technology Transfer and building new pharmaceutical site by Burrard Pharma

One of our pharmaceuticals contract manufacturing organizations hired the Burrard Pharmaceuticals team to design, renovate, build new infrastructure and expand its fill-finish injections operations to grow its aseptic and sterile drug product services. Burrard Pharma provided basic design; equipment supplies from Italy.
Approximately 35,000 square feet of the site and 15,000 square feet of the basement built, and 12000 square feet replaced with a new building structure that includes lower level, main level, clean core, interstitial space, and penthouse levels.
The renovation was designed to support new Class D and Class C clean rooms with massive, state of the art design for formulation space, two GMP grade high-speed isolated filling lines to support aseptic vial and syringe filling, including water for injection, clean steam, clean compressed air systems. Generator, cooling towers, and a liquid nitrogen storage tank were provided in the separate space.
