A video clip has been shared by Mannayata Dutt, wife of Sanjay Dutt, where she can be seen doing the aarti for Ganesh Chaturthi with her kids and husband. Earlier news of Sajay being diagnosed with lung cancer have been floating in the media this month.
In the clip, Mannayata Dutt is seen doing the aarti with her children, Shahraan and Iqra, and also her famous husband Sanjay Dutt. They have been doing the evening aarti to Lord Ganesha who is also called the vighna harta that means the remover of all obstacles. A piece of sad news struck the family earlier this month as Sanjay has been diagnosed with grade three cancer of the lungs.
The video has been shared on the Instagram stories of Maanyata as it shows that the kids have been doing the aarti as a diya has been placed on the plate as things are aptly aided by the elders and the parents. At the beginning of the 11th day of the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi on this Saturday, a picture has been shared by Sanjay of their beautifully decorated puja podium. It was written that the celebrations are not very big as it used to happen every year but their faith in God has remained the same. She further added that she wishes that all the obstacles are removed from their lives because of this auspicious festival and may God Ganpati Bappa Morya bless them with happiness and health.
Sanjay has been diagnosed with lung cancer of stage 4 in the middle of August. On the 8th of August, complins of breathlessness came from the actor as he was rushed to the nearby Lilavati hospital. Soon, a COVID test was done on the actor, and he was tested negative. Later on, a cancer test was run on the actor and the results came positive from it.
There has been a lot of speculation amid which an official statement was released by Sanjay whereby he mentioned everybody that he is going to take a short break from the work for medical treatment. He also added that his friends and family are with him and he urged his followers not to speculate and do not worry. He said that he will be back with all the wishes and love poured in by the fans.
Another statement was released by Mannayata, where she said that the preliminary treatment will be done at the Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. She also said that the preliminary treatment will be done in Mumbai. Further travel plans will be formulated depending upon the easing of the COVID situation. At this moment, Sanjay is getting the treatment from best doctors in Kokilaben hospital. She also requested everybody with folded hands that speculation about the stage of his illness must stop as the doctors are continuously trying their best. She also promised the fans to update about his progress regularly.
