The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo was made to be destructive for the world. When Mewtwo acknowledges its dubious source of origin in the world, it starts to despise its human creators and companions and look for revenge in every possible way.
The latest movie from the famous franchise promises to bring back favorite characters of all time, Brock and Misty, who were there in the first season that appeared on TV. So far, the characters were only given small appearances in video games and an anime adaptation. It’s a comeback for the lead character Ash making a return to his origin in the newest series of Pokémon. Ash has not come back alone, he brings his friends and travel mates.
The film resonates with Pokémon: The First Movie that was released in North America in 1999. It became popular in Japan and all over the world apart from having full shows in North American movie theatres.
The second release of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back happened in North America after it was premiered in Japan though it was limited. Anime Expo 2019 was out in Los Angeles, CA, but the fans of the different regions could not grab the chance to watch the movie for now.
Netflix decided to release Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back — Evolution as a “Netflix Original” worldwide, except there will be separate releases for Japan and Korea. The franchise made it to Netflix and streaming in the North American platform for the first time. Though it is dubious that how long Netflix will keep the deal on as Netflix often switches content when the license gets expired.
Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back — Evolution will be available on Netflix in North America on February 27 that is known to be the “Pokémon Day.”
