The latest movie from the famous franchise promises to bring back favorite characters of all time, Brock and Misty, who were there in the first season that appeared on TV. So far, the characters were only given small appearances in video games and an anime adaptation. It’s a comeback for the lead character Ash making a return to his origin in the newest series of Pokémon. Ash has not come back alone, he brings his friends and travel mates.
The film resonates with Pokémon: The First Movie that was released in North America in 1999. It became popular in Japan and all over the world apart from having full shows in North American movie theatres.

The franchise made it to Netflix and streaming in the North American platform for the first time. Though it is dubious that how long Netflix will keep the deal on as Netflix often switches content when the license gets expired.
